	New Dolls July 2010
	Hello, I hope you are enjoying the summer. It is fine weather for doll making. WHERE ARE ALL THE MEN? You’ve probably been thinking this quietly to yourselves over the last few years. My dolls have been disproportionately female. Well, I’ve finally made myself create some Victorian/Edwardian gentlemen and despite initial teething problems I think I’m fairly happy with the results – do let me know what you think of them. They are only available to order as these are commissioned pieces but if you would like me to make one for you please drop me a line using the online form or you can call me on 020 7482 2488. COMMISSIONS AND ORDERS If you would like to order some dolls please don’t hesitate to contact me. Collecting miniature dolls is a costly exercise so I like to make the dolls to your requirements. If you let me know which period styles you are collecting I will email you with a collection of photographs of the dolls so that you can browse. I take a small deposit up front just to reserve the space in my order book. AVAILABLE DOLLS Unless they can start making themselves, it’s looking like these will be the last set of available dolls online for six months – just because I can’t work any faster! I’m hoping to be able to make a small collection for online Christmas shopping but can’t guarantee that at the moment. I will be at three shows during the autumn/ winter: Miniatura, Kensington and Ally Pally, North London where I will have some dolls to take away on the day. You will notice some familiar faces in this collection as I have added in some dolls that I usually only take to shows – these are all available now and will be sent to you immediately by Royal Mail Special Delivery. JOYCE DEAN I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to the wonderful Joyce Dean, editor of Dolls House World Magazine. She was a truly lovely lady and an inspiration to me when I started out and will be missed by collectors and craftsmen alike. My thoughts go to her family and friends at this time. Georgina
